The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Steven Turner can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Mike and Larry... your brother was a friend from Sanderson (TX) schools... several of us have wondered about Steven's life after y'all left there. Finally found this obituary tonight... I'm so glad he had a good life, and that he continued his photography. I posted this on the Terrell County Museum facebook page for friends who asked about him. On another note, I loved your mom and dad... thought your mama was the prettiest lady I had ever seen! You have parents and a brother to be super proud of! I hope you remember some of us Sandersonites!

Condolence: Steve was the big brother every kid brother should have. We often lived near each other over the years; which is remarkable in our family. He taught me how to survey and gave me my first computer. We often spent hours visiting; sometimes late into the night. He always had time for me, a word of encouragement or much needed advice. Steve was a fighter; and even cancer had to wait until he was ready. And he was ready. He fought well, lived well, loved well and died well. I will miss Steve ; and know that others who knew him will miss him also. Until we meet again: farewell big brother, farewell.
